1. Scope and responsibility
Lucid Podcast Advertising LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered address at 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, does business as Lucid Advertising and is referred to as "Lucid," "we," "us" or "our." Lucid is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy unless another organization is independently responsible for its own processing. Our website is available at getlucidpod.com.
This Policy applies to Lucid's website, podcaster applications, creator and advertiser accounts, dashboards, podcast monetization, advertising campaigns, subscriptions, campaign production, reporting, support and related communications. It should be read with our Terms of Use.
Podcast hosts, payment providers, advertising delivery platforms and other third parties may process information under their own privacy policies. This Policy does not replace their notices.
2. Information we collect

This may include order details, plan information, transaction and subscription references, payment status, invoices, payout details, tax-related information and records needed for accounting or compliance. Payment providers generally process full card, bank or wallet details. Lucid may receive limited account information and transaction status rather than full payment credentials.
Technical and usage information
This may include IP address, browser, device and operating system, approximate location, referral source, pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, cookie or advertising identifiers, error records, security logs and information about how you use Lucid's website and dashboards.
Communications and support
We may collect messages, email history, form submissions, feedback, support requests and other information you choose to send us.
3. Where information comes from
We may receive personal information:
- directly from you when you apply, create an account, buy a service, connect a podcast or contact us;
- from public podcast RSS feeds, podcast directories, show websites and other public sources;
- from podcast hosts, advertising delivery platforms, measurement providers and campaign partners;
- from payment, subscription and payout providers;
- from analytics, advertising, email, support and website technology providers; and
- from an organization you represent or another person authorized to provide the information.
If you give us personal information about someone else, you must have authority to do so and provide any notice required by applicable law.
4. How and why we use information
We may use personal information to:
- create, secure and administer accounts and dashboards;
- review podcast applications and confirm ownership, activity, audience quality and hosting compatibility;
- onboard podcasts and manage technical advertising connections;
- match podcasts and advertisers, prepare creative, deliver campaigns and manage placements;
- measure eligible delivery, investigate discrepancies and provide reporting;
- process purchases, subscriptions, invoices, creator earnings and payouts;
- send service updates, approval requests, support responses and other operational communications;
- improve our website, dashboards, matching, campaign operations and customer experience;
- detect invalid traffic, fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our terms;
- market Lucid and measure the effectiveness of our marketing, where permitted; and
- comply with law, enforce agreements and protect the rights and safety of Lucid and others.
Legal reasons for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we may process information because it is necessary to perform a contract or take steps you request, because we or another party have legitimate interests, because you have given consent, or because processing is needed to comply with a legal obligation. Our legitimate interests include operating and improving Lucid, providing secure services, reviewing applications, matching and delivering suitable campaigns, measuring performance, preventing fraud and communicating with business users.
The basis may vary depending on the information, purpose and your location. When we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, although that will not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
5. Podcast RSS feeds, prefixes and ad delivery
If you submit a public podcast RSS feed, Lucid may use the feed and its public metadata to identify and verify the show, review application and campaign fit, confirm hosting compatibility, display show information and prepare onboarding. Providing the URL does not give Lucid access to your hosting account and does not allow us to change the feed.
If a podcast is approved and its owner chooses to proceed, the owner or authorized host may add an approved RSS prefix or another technical connection. Depending on the setup, Lucid and its delivery or measurement partners may then process podcast request and delivery data such as IP address, timestamp, user agent, device type, approximate country or region, show and episode identifiers, placement information and delivery events.
This information is used to serve eligible advertising, apply campaign targeting, prevent duplicate or invalid activity, measure delivery and prepare aggregate or campaign-level reporting. Reports supplied to advertisers or podcast partners may include show names, placements, delivery totals and aggregated audience or location information. We do not intend those reports to identify individual podcast listeners.
8. International processing
Lucid operates online and may use providers or work with partners in countries other than your own. Personal information may therefore be processed in countries with different privacy laws.
Where required, we use appropriate measures for international transfers, which may include contractual protections, transfers to countries recognized as providing adequate protection, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for more information about safeguards that apply to your information.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Retention depends on the type of information, whether an account, application, subscription, podcast connection or campaign is active, our relationship with you, reporting and dispute needs, security and fraud-prevention requirements, and legal, tax, accounting or contractual obligations.
We may keep limited records after an account or service ends when needed to complete payments, validate delivery, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements or comply with law. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify or securely isolate it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration and disclosure. These may include access controls, account authentication, service-provider controls, monitoring and secure transfer methods where appropriate.
No online service, storage system or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and should contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
11. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- know whether we process your personal information and receive information about its categories, sources, purposes and recipients;
- request access to or a copy of personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of information in certain circumstances;
- request restriction of processing or object to certain processing;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- object to direct marketing;
- opt out of certain sale, sharing or targeted-advertising activities where applicable;
- use an authorized agent where local law permits; and
- complain to a privacy or data-protection authority.
You will not be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right. Rights are not absolute and may be limited by law. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. To submit a request, email hello@getlucidpod.com and describe the right you wish to exercise.
12. Service and marketing communications
We may send operational messages about applications, accounts, security, onboarding, campaigns, approvals, subscriptions, payments, payouts and support. These messages are part of providing the service and may continue while the relevant account, campaign or transaction is active.
We may also send marketing communications where permitted. You can opt out using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary service or transaction messages.
13. Children and third-party services
Lucid's services are intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Our website and communications may link to podcast platforms, hosts, payment services, advertiser websites or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Lucid is not responsible for services outside our control.
14. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to Lucid, our providers, technology or legal requirements. The latest version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Where appropriate, we may also provide a direct notice of material changes.
Questions, concerns and privacy requests can be sent to hello@getlucidpod.com. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to contact your local privacy or data-protection authority.
